Enjoy a free family bicycle ride with friends and neighbors on Sunday morning, June 26 from 10 am to 12 noon, along Marlborough's beautiful Assabet River Rail Trail.

The Marlborough Hospital Safe Summer Family Fun Ride is supported by several local community companies and organizations:

* Marlborough Wellness Committee

Healthy and Supervised
The ride promises a morning of healthy fun for families, kids and adults of all ages and bicycling abilities. The few street crossings will be staffed and supervised to let you and your children ride the entire trail without worrying about traffic crossings.

Water/Snack Stops and Stickers for Kids
The entire ride is 3 miles out and 3 miles back, but you can turn around at any time to make it a shorter ride, or do it twice to make it a longer ride. Water stops will be placed at the 1.5 and 3 mile marks, where you can get refreshed with water and snacks, and where kids (and adults) will get stickers for their bike helmets to acknowledge their accomplishment! Please note that helmets are required for bike riders.

Location and How to Attend
To attend, just mark it on your calendar for Sunday morning on June 26th, and plan to arrive at the start (36 Jefferson Street near the center of Marlborough, across from Kelleher Field) any time after 9 am to register. Would you like to help?
We're looking for anyone who'd like to help out, too. So please let us know if you'd like to help out the morning of the ride. You can be out on the trail for ride support, or staff the registration table, or volunteer at a water stop or traffic crossing; it will be a lot of fun for all of us!
